Schedule

OK.  It's time to map out my schedule working up to application time.  As a refresher: I'll apply this Fall for admission in 2012 to various OB programs.  Here's my tentative checklist and rough schedule:

• Finalize school list: May 1
• LOR
• Ask final recommender to write LOR: April 15
• Send recommender "guide" to all letter writers: July 1(too soon?)
• Send follow-up to letter writers: Sep 30 (?)
• SOP
• Complete draft SOP: May 1
• Draft 2 of SOP: June 15
• Final Draft SOP: August 1

And then there's my research pipeline:

• Paper 1 (4th author)
• Submit to journal: April 1
• Paper 2 (1st author)
• Present at conference: April
• Complete additional analysis & rewrite: July 1
• Submit to journal:  August 1
• Paper 3 (5th author)
• Present at conference: April
